My name is Vladimir Todorov. I am an author/illustrator and a film concept artist with over 20 years of experience in feature animated and live-action films. I started out as a traditional animator on feature films like "We're Back", "Balto" and "Space Jam". Then, when computers came along, graduated to CGI and worked on "Stuart Little" 1 and 2, before switching gear and concentrating more on illustration and design. I've created characters and concepts for films like "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Jack the Giant Slayer". But I spent most of the past ten years designing the characters for Robert Zemeckis' "The Polar Express", "Beowulf", "Christmas Carol" and "Mars needs Moms".
I've also co-written and illustrated two books: "The Moon Rock" and "Oliver's Tantrums", and the illustrated novel "Archipelago N.Y."
